Simple Homemade Face Masks

Proper and regular facial care is an important ally for maintaining a youthful, firm, and radiant skin. Apart from the daily cleansing of the face, face masks can be a great way for an extra skin boost. However, store-bought face masks can have harmful ingredients for the skin. There are homemade face masks with beneficial properties that deeply nourish the skin while deep cleansing, moisturizing, and help reduce acne or have antiaging, repairing, and firming properties. Most importantly, they are made with natural ingredients found in your kitchen.





Reduces Acne While Deep Cleansing – Honey and Cinnamon

Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon cinnamon

  • 3 tablespoons honey

How-to

Mix the two ingredients and put them in the microwave for 30 seconds for the honey to melt. Apply the mask and wait for 10 minutes. Rinse with water.


Moisturizes Dry Skin – Honey and Olive Oil

Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon honey

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

How-to

Clean and dry your face thoroughly. Mix the two ingredients. Apply a thin layer and wait for 30 minutes. Rinse. For best results repeat 2-3 times a week.


Antiaging and Deep Cleansing – Avocado and Olive Oil

Ingredients

  • 1 ripe avocado

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

How-to

Mash the avocado and then mix with the olive oil until the mixture has a creamy texture. Apply and wait for 30 minutes. Rinse with water. For best results apply twice a week.


Firming and Repairing – Egg White and Olive Oil

Ingredients

  • 1 egg

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

How-to

Beat the egg white until it becomes foamy and then mix with the olive oil. Apply and wait for 30-40 minutes. Rinse with water with gentle circular motions. For best results apply 2 or 3 times a week.


For a Glowing Complexion – Baking Soda and Honey

Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon honey

  • 1 tablespoon baking soda

  • 1 tablespoon water

How-to

Mix the ingredients until a creamy texture is formed. Apply the mask and wait for 20 minutes. Rinse.


Deep Cleansing and Moisturizing – Olive Oil and Oatmeal

Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

  • 1 tablespoon oatmeal

How-to

Mixt the two ingredients and apply the mixture. Wait for 20 minutes and rinse. For best results apply twice a week.
